• The children's bookcase is handmade from 15 mm thick hardwood plywood.
• It is painted with varnishes and paints that are completely safe for the environment and the health of the child.
• Materials meet, among other things: conditions of the European standard PN EN 71.3.
• All sharp corners and edges are ground and rounded, and the structure ensures stability, reinforced by a solid back, so that even climbing the shelves ensures that the furniture does not fall over.

The product is intended for self-assembly, which requires only a screwdriver and a few minutes of free time.

The Montessori method and the design of a children's room

Maria Montessori's method is based on playful learning. But above all, it is aimed at the broad development of the child, with particular emphasis on the development of creative and logical thinking.

Is there a connection between the way of raising children and the design of a children's room? Naturally! This area should be designed so that the child is not restricted and has easy access to all equipment, while ensuring safety.

Colour

An important point of attention is the color of the nursery. In the Montessori method, colors should be chosen intuitively, without using established patterns (e.g. pink for girls, blue for boys). A subdued base color is important because it is usually enlivened by very colorful books and toys.

The children's bookcase can be ordered in natural or white, gray, mint or blue. Book covers will look great against this background.

Functionality

There should be no unnecessary items in the nursery that serve no purpose. The functions of existing furniture must be clear and easily recognizable. The child should easily know where to put the book and where to put the toys.
